Cuteness

Want to see some cute photos of Babe? Check her out here. Shari does a really good job at capturing Babe's sweetness. Plus just a couple of days Lil' M (Little Man) had his 3-4 year old pictures taken by her. I can't believe he's getting that big! So be on the look out for some cute Lil' M photos!

Here's what's going on in our family these days.

Lil' M - Busy. Has always been busy but more so. Wants to be outside when Babe is sleeping. If I had a fenced yard I would have no problem with that but since I have to be with him when we go outside it causes much friction between us. I want to go out. Maybe I should just hook up the baby monitor and see how far it goes and then maybe we COULD go out while Babe sleeps. Now there's a thought. . . . .
He's loves his daddy very, very much. Lil' M is a boy through and through. The gun and squishy sounds have become a daily sound around here. Oh. Things "explode" around here as well. He's such a sweet boy. He wants to make good choices and does a good job at doing what we ask of him. He's growing up so fast and I just want to slow down time!

Babe - is rolling over. She doesn't like being on her tummy so when I put her down on her tummy she'll start to turn and shift her weight so she's on her side by the time I get her on her stomach. If I am successful at getting that tummy to make contact with the floor in 0.001 seconds she has rolled over. Just like her brother. That aside she can sit by herself for about a minute ore two before she falls over from reaching for something.
She's a very good observer. Enough that I have come to realize that she will probably learn by example the best. I say this because she can sit and watch people do an activity for a good 10 minutes or more. Just watching. Contently. She will also study new toys or items very carefully. Rotating her little chubby hand with the new toy. Turning it this way and that. Putting it in the other hand and doing the same thing. Then it hits the mouth. She concentrates so hard every time she does this that I can't help but smile and want the moment to last forever. She's such a sweet little girl and I love having her in our family.

Me - (sigh) I think I've hit a bit of a depressed state. Everything feels sort of blah. My house has been a disaster since we came back from a 14 day visit to British Columbia. I mean a HUGE disaster. I have NO motivation to clean it. I did at one point get most of it clean but that was only to find my lost iPod touch. Everyone has a passion. Photography, food, art, something that moves them. For me . . . . it's music. There's something about music that makes me dance. Move. Breathe. Smile. Laugh. Joy. Happiness. I only have to listen to a song in the first few measures to know if it's a song that's going to move me. Something just comes to life within me when I hear the right song. My iPod has been missing since we came back from our visit. Perhaps that's why I'm in such a slump and I feel so "lifeless".

T- Ah the man of my dreams. He can sometimes be just that. Since getting a promotion he's wanted and been told he was going to get for a while FINALLY happened there are sometimes I only see him for about 20-30 minutes before I nod off to dreamland. I'm grateful for him and the hard work he does to provide for us. Provide for us in a way that I can stay home. Stay home and make a mess of the house we live in. Hum . . . . . maybe I should change that.
Now, if you haven't heard the news . . . . . T won a car when he was at a conference in NY. It's apparently finally on it's way from NJ to here. He hasn't decided if he's going to sell it or keep it. Changes his mind every week. I'm a bit jealous . . . . . . . . . . but he deserves it.

Life is never boring and sometimes it's just good to sit back and take a breath. Close your eyes and just be still. Find a moment and do just that today.

Wow, those pics of her are SO beautiful!!! Thanks for the update. And keep on keeping on with the house; it'll help you get out of your funk if you can keep it clean. There is nothing like having a messy place that makes me antsy!
