I can't explain how
EXCITED I was when I saw these little beauties popping up yesterday!

I have limited space on our patio to grow and these finally have flowers and pods! I have been thrilled that I can grow something year round. Our table has currently been graced with home grown lettuce, spinach, and cilantro. The Oregano didn't make it and I'm still trying to find recipes that use Basil! I can't wait until March comes when I can start planting other yummy things to fill my family's tummies!

It would be so nice to have warm weather right now!! We are still very cold, with lots of snow here. You are pretty lucky!!
that is so cool! I need to get our garden ready to plant some veggies...and put it to good use (other than for digging and looking for bones -- BOYS!)
love the new background!
sorry we totally missed scheduling a play date!!!!
would any days next week work out for you? while Jakob is at school (between 10 & 2) is best for me.
ohhh. I'm so jealous. You are so lucky to live in such a great climate.
Yummy! What a fun time to grow something in the middle of Winter!
Yum! We use basil like salt and pepper in scrambled eggs or pasta dishes. It is a great addition!
Good luck.
Basil, basil. I love basil! My favorites to use basil with are margarita pizza, creamy pesto pasta, or a fancy grilled cheese (sheepherders bread, mozzarella cheese with tomatoes and basil, outside of bread spread some butter and then pat freshly grated Parmesan cheese over the butter - yum!).
