Not the newborn - baby - kinda - of - pooped on.
Once everything was taken care of I spent a good part of the morning packing for our quick trip to Utah. I decided to kill sometime and wear the Little Man out so we walked to the park and played. As we were getting ready to come back I reach down for my Little Man's hand and realized that the back of my arm is wet. I vaguely recall a raven flying above us and glance down at my arm to see whiteness splattered all over it! I dry heaved and ran for the nearest grass spot. Which didn't wipe all the white away but left a nice cut-grass-itchy feeling on my arm. I then quickly scanned my hair and Little Man to make sure there weren't any more casualties. So then I'm trying to speed things up to get home so I can wash my dang arm. But Breck had to remind me that there are still wonders in this world to see and try as we walk back home.
We eventually made it home and the first thing I did was head straight to the bathroom to wash my arm!
Just out of curiosity has any ever been bird-pooped on?

man that sucks!! and no, i've never been pooped on...by a bird, by my kids, yes, but not by a bird. so sorry!
Brad said he saw you walking this morning after he dropped Jakob at school...now I know why you didn't have the stroller...your plan was to wear him out! :) Smart mama!
I hope you have a fun trip in Utah!
Sad but true, yes I was pooped on this summer. Me and my sister in law have been riding our bike everynight since the first of July and one night we were riding a long this road that had a lot of trees and a powerline above those. So there were a lot of birds there and sad enough I got pooped on while riding my bike. That tells you how fast I was riding too. Sad, I know but I know how it feels!
Oh my gosh! I would have more than dry heaved. I would have puked right there in the park. I can't believe that!
I think maybe once before, but my friend who is very short always got pooped on in High School at lunch or even at the beach.
Hey, I am glad that you left a comment on mine!!
We have been married for four years...I think that we got married the same summer (2004), if I remember right.
And in response to your blog...yes I have been pooped on TWICE. Not pleasant to say the least.
When I was about 11 we were all down at the pier and a seagull pooped on my head. What was worse than that, though, was that my entire family including my parents were laughing too hard to help me clean it up.
I'm still madder at them than the seagull!
Totally. When I was like 7, a huge owl few over me and pooped right on the top of my head. That moment ruined birds for me for the rest of my life. ps- How are you doing?
Nope just "peanut butter"!?
I'm still laughing at the visual of you running to the grass screaming!! HAHAHAHAHAHA
But I don't think I've ever been pooped on by a bird, that was wild. Tame cage birds have been a constant since I've been married.
On my head! On my BIRTHDAY!
I cried. :)
I was golfing my back yard & I was getting in position to take a killer swing & was pooped on. I looked up.....not a bird to be found. Pretty much the grossest thing!
Hey Megan! I found your blog on Kristi's! Feel free to check ours out too!
YES I have been pooped on, right on the crown of my head! I think a shoulder or arm would be much easier to clean out! Especially for us naturally curly heads with mousse and hairspray...YUCK! Totally not fun!
