Oh Wonderful Mountains!

My lack of blogging has been due to the fact that I went home to the mountains and have just returned. Ahhh. Twas wonderful. Saw the colors on the trees just start to change as I drove through some canyons and felt a sense of home. A little sad I won't see them in their full glory but something is better than nothing when I've had no fall colors the last two years. Enjoyed the feeling of a crisp morning watching the sun rise over the mountain peaks. Hopefully next time I can hike to the top and watch the sun hit the valley. It was a much needed visit to my mountains. Who wants to go with me next time?

Now as for the babe . . . . she's due in 8 weeks. Ahhh. Countdown time. I'm ready. I think I'm ready. Just need to find a new place to live so I can finally pull out all the baby stuff without having to repack it. Ahhh. Am I ready?

Stay tuned as I will be posting some stories and pictures later on this week. If I have time. You see my Little Man is turning 3 this week! Crazy! I'm excited and can't wait! He doesn't know it yet but he's going to get a McQueen Cake with McQueen plates and cups. Plus a few little friends to come over and eat some cake so that Tom and I aren't eating it for a week. So much to do in so little time.

This is up Swift Creek. Isn't my hometown beautiful? I sure missed it.

If you look close enough you can see the fish. The water is crystal clear. The town is fed from the Intermittent Spring. Oh how wonderful it is to drink fresh spring water from the tap! I couldn't get enough of it while I was there!
