Oh my! I just can't enough of this INCREDIBLE musical. First off I've wanted to see if for a while. Second, Tom bought me the book for Valentine's Day and when I finished I was telling Tom we had to see the musical! The music! I love it! Tom got me the album after we saw it and I can't seem to get enough of it! It's so uplifting and wonderful!
The play/musical does a pretty good job at staying close to the story line. They changed a few things from the book, but overall did a wonderful job. I do have to say I like the ending on the play better than I do the book.
If ANY of you want to come out to LA to see it let me know and I'll go with you! I actually like the voices of the two gals that played Glinda and Elphabala better here in LA than on the album but the music. Oh that wonderful music! Love it!

I would recommend reading the book or at least adding it to your list of books to read. It's really, really good.
PS- Yes I am obsessed with it enough to change my blog to match the colors of Wicked.
